Who I am

After I graduate the University of Houston my plans for education are huge. It all starts in the classroom. I will teach World History at the 10th grade level. History can sometimes be a difficult topic for many students and sometimes find it “boring”. With the help of my instructors at UH, I learned many resources that incorporate technology in lessons so students can grasp core material. I became passionate over teaching thanks to my teachers in elementary, middle, and high school. I always had a teacher who impacted my life at each stage. I want to be exactly like them. Teaching is a calling and I happen to have answered. My teaching philosophy is about potential and belief. I believe that my students have the potential to be great and make changes in this world. I want to inspire them everyday because school is more than education it is about shaping the future and I can’t wait to be a part of that.
